It was 2019, the pandemics hit all of us hard. I was working for a young translation company, struggling to position itself on a tough small Slovenian market. For two months we worked from home, part time only and we survived. On our company crisis online meeting I presented a positive view and solutions – engage with clients, talk to them, give them support – business continues, lets find it – for some crisis is doom, for others it’s boom.
Many small and large businesses were not so lucky. Many closed, temporary or for good. It was due to panic, fear, non-ability to adapt to change.
I have made quite good sales with special businesses that have made a small fortune from pandemics business and transitioned heavy to online services, e-commerce in particular. Became CSO.

That gave me thinking. My response to catastrophic events and keeping a cool head, always being proactive and searching for solutions – a core skill and mind set developed during prolonged living in the wilderness – made me and my company thrive. In couple of weeks I came with core solutions for businesses and individuals – BTAR Solutions – Be Tough, Adaptable & Resilient.

Miha Berčič
The mind behind BTAR

Miha was born in old Yugoslavia in a beautiful, now independent republic, country of Slovenija. 
His love and passion for nature fuel his life choices and career: boyscout (group leader), MSci in Microbiology/Biotechnology, Founder and CEO of Black Raven Solutions Wilderness Academy since 2009.
He lives in the woods for 6+ months per year and this experience and deep insights gave birth to new corporate programs under
BTAR Solutions: Business Toughness Adaptability & Resilience.
Best way to describe the knowledge and mindset behind it – it’s a Special Forces Business Academy.
